Crawling out from under a very muddy rock

If things have gone a little quiet around here, it’s because I’m buried under a pile of Adult Responsibilities and all my free time is spent drawing and watching Westworld (OMG WESTWORLD) and falling asleep at hours that would make the elderly laugh.

I’m posting lots of doodles over at CalobeeDoodles.com! I’m also trying out a number of print-on-demand services and writing a post comparing my experiences, which I’ll post here when I’ve spent a bit more time with each of them.

I started using Headspace to practice meditation; 42 days and counting! I worked through the introductory levels, now I’m trying the Creativity suite. The techniques are simple, and the sessions are good at easing me into the concepts. I wish I could jump around a bit more between sessions (for example, I’d love to be able to do Creativity and Relationships at the same time, without losing progress), although I suppose picking one thing and focusing on it is the point of meditation. 😛

We seem to have survived another long winter; the house is covered in mud, a sure indicator that spring has sprung. Actually, it doesn’t so much spring around here as it does ooze, but after months of snow and cold, I’ll take the muck.

I also have a team meet-up coming up, as well as a sabbatical, so I expect to have a lot more to write in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

  1. I love your Southwestern design pillows and wonder if you would consider selling some fabric by the yard? I have a ottoman I need to recover and can’t find great fabric like you use. Thank you your designs are awesome!

  2. Hi! Most of my patterns are available on Spoonflower, but I don’t think I have anything that’s Southwestern in style. You may be thinking of another designer. 🙂
